HEIU was founded in Hemsedal in 2021. We are a turnkey contractor for renovations, extensions and new builds of homes and cabins, and since we started we have completed more than 60 projects, large and small, while growing steadily.
Because we both design and build, we are in control of the whole building process.
Whether it is a renovation, an extension or a new home or cabin, the details are solved at the table before construction starts. Our team consists of an architect, a site manager and experienced craftsmen.
We care about good materials and solid craftsmanship, in line with what you have in mind. Our projects are carried out as agreed, and our low rate of complaints reflects that.
For you as a client, this means a smooth, cost-conscious and clear process, with one party to deal with from the first sketch to the last nail.
Jo is the managing director of HEIU. He holds a master’s degree in architecture, with education from both the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO) and NTNU.
He has previously worked for one of Norway’s largest consulting firms in building and construction, and has run his own architecture practice.
Espen is a trained carpenter and engineer, with several years of experience as site manager on renovation and extension projects. He was foreman responsible for large parts of the Fyri Resort project in Hemsedal.
He is genuinely interested in the building trade, and always focused on delivering good, solid craftsmanship.
We take on the whole project as a turnkey contract, or just the part you need. You are welcome to bring your own drawings or your own architect. We speak English.
