Sun and mountain shadow
The diagram shows the sun’s path across the sky seen from the plot. The grey field is the terrain and the mountains around. Where the path is behind the grey, the plot is in shade.
Buildings are read from the national laser elevation model (the Norwegian Mapping Authority) or from OpenStreetMap, and are approximate. Shadows from the buildings and whether the plot is in the shade of the mountains follow the month and time above.
Natural hazards (NVE)
A susceptibility area does not mean that the plot is unsafe, but that the hazard must be assessed further before building (Norwegian building regulations TEK17, chapter 7).
Zoning plan
The plans that apply to the property, from the municipality’s planning register. The provisions set how much you can build (plot coverage), how high and with what roof form.
